Sports Brief looks at who Arsenal played in the last four seasons and what happened to them.

2020/21

Arsenal were dumped out of the tournament on January 23, 2021, when Southampton beat them 1-0.

The Gunners booked their place in the fourth round when they beat Newcastle United, but a Gabriel own goal was enough to consign them to defeat in the fourth round.

Eventual winner: Leicester City.

2021/22

The following season, Arsenal kicked off their FA Cup run with a trip to Nottingham Forest.

Lewis Grabban scored an 83rd-minute goal to knock The Gunners out of the competition.

Eventual winner: Liverpool.

2022/23

Arsenal started the following season with a big win over Oxford United.

The Gunners won 3-0 and booked a place in the next round against Manchester City. Nathan Ake scored the only goal of the game in the 64th minute, as City progressed at Arsenal’s expense.

Eventual winners: Manchester City.

2023/24

Arsenal’s latest failure has come at the hands of Liverpool.

A Jakub Kiwior own goal and a late strike from Luis Diaz were enough to give Jurgen Klopp’s men the win.

Liverpool players celebrate wildly with fan

One Liverpool fan had a moment he will never forget when he celebrated the team's goal against Arsenal.

The supporter was hit on the head by both Darwin Nunez and Ibrahima Konate before the defender stole his hat.

A video of the moment has since gone viral, with fans left in stitches by the incident, Sports Brief reported.
