Manchester United: Part of Old Trafford's Ceiling Reportedly Falls on Fans Amid Glazers Protests
- Old Trafford's poor state took another turn after a part of its ceiling allegedly fell on two fans
- The incident is said to have taken place during the Women's Super League Manchester derby
- The Glazer family have been at loggerheads with fans over their handling of issues at the club
A part of Old Trafford's ceiling reportedly came tumbling down on fans on November 19 as Manchester United's Women hosted their cross-city rivals Manchester City.
The poor state of the stadium has been highlighted in the past, with the current ownership of the Glazers family being accused of not investing in its renovation.
An X user(formerly Twitter), Problemchild, alleged that:
"If you ever need further proof that Old Trafford is indeed Falling Down...Block N2402 ceiling parts fell on 2 supporters at the ladies' game today."
A couple of weeks back, another footage surfaced online of the roofs leaking as the rain continued to pound several parts of the UK.
"Old Trafford is literally falling down! Just like the away fans sing! What a disgrace the Glazers and Jim are; so much for safety first."
"Part of it could possibly collapse. The terrible condition of the stadium with outdated features."
As the Mirror reports, the 75-000 seater stadium has lost its aura in recent years. It was recently bypassed as one of the host stadia for Euro 2028, with the Etihad being selected as the Manchester-based venue.
Manchester United fans have been up in arms several times, protesting against the Glazers family, whom they accuse of neglecting the club's needs.
The Red Devils have stalled since Sir Alex Ferguson left in 2013, with money splashed on targets who failed to live up to their potential.

Antoine Griezmann on United's radar
Sports Brief has also reported that football transfer guru Fabrizio Romano has provided an update on the chances of Antoine Griezmann joining Manchester United.
The French star has been linked with a sensational move to Old Trafford, as Erik ten Hag looks to add more experience to his frontline.
Despite boasting a host of star forwards, United have managed just 13 goals in 12 Premier League games this season, leaving them with a goal difference of -3.
