Gary Neville Predicts Who Will Win the Premier League After Arsenal Closed Gap on Man City
- Arsenal are sitting just a point behind Man City in the Premier League standings
- The Gunners are yet to suffer defeat in seven outings so far this season
- City picked up their first league defeat of the season on Saturday at Wolves
Manchester United legend Gary Neville has sensationally claimed Arsenal will win the Premier League title this season.
The Gunners have enjoyed an impressive start to the new season and are currently the only unbeaten side in the Premier League alongside rivals Tottenham Hotspur.
Mikel Arteta's charges have picked up 17 points from seven of their opening matches, with their latest outing ending in a 4-0 thrilling win over Bournemouth on Saturday, per BBC.
Arsenal's hot start has them sitting third in the standings, just a point behind leaders Manchester City.
Neville backs Arsenal to win the EPL
Neville now contends that the north Londoners are on course to win the Premier League title this season.
According to the former United defender, City's Saturday slip-up will be a great motivation for Arsenal in the title race.
"I’ve got Arsenal to win the league this year. That post-treble feeling, what it would have taken out of those City players and staff would have been enormous," Neville said on his podcast, as cited by Metro UK.
"They could easily win the league this season and obviously it is just one game, but little results like that give the other teams encouragement," he added.
The reigning champions were stunned 2-1 on Saturday by Wolves at Molineux, with the loss coming just days after they crashed out of the Carabao Cup.
