Bayern Munich forward, Jamal Musiala has expressed his ambitions of becoming the world's best footballer in the upcoming years.
Musiala, who secured the match-winning goal that enabled Bayern to clinch their 11th consecutive Bundesliga title last season, is aiming to make a significant mark on the global stage within two years.
Having earned a nomination for this year's Golden Boy award, the 20-year-old has garnered attention as one of the emerging talents poised to assume the legacy left by Lionel Messi and his counterpart, Cristiano Ronaldo.
When discussing his short-to-medium-term goals, the German international disclosed his aspiration to attain the highest possible level in his football career.
“In 1 or 2 years, I want to be at the highest possible level,” Musiala told Sports Bild, as quoted by Fabrizio Romano.
"I want to be one of the best players in the world. It’s my plan and ambition.”

“That's my idea. I hope to compete for the Ballon d’Or,” he ended.
