Steven Gerrard looked splendid as he joined the ranks of football icons based in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, embracing their culture.
The Englishman swiftly returned to the coaching arena by taking the helm at Saudi Pro League club Al Ettifaq after being dismissed by Aston Villa last season.
Since then, he has rejuvenated his managerial career, which had appeared to be in decline during his tenure at Villa.
The Dammam-based club have been making a positive impact in the Saudi top division under Gerrard's guidance.
Currently, Ettifaq sits in fourth place, accumulating 16 points from seven matches — just one point behind second-placed Al-Hilal and two points behind league leaders Al-Ittihad, per Fox Sports.

Similar to Gerrard, Cristiano Ronaldo and Sadio Mane have seamlessly adapted to their new surroundings in Saudi Arabia, as evidenced by their appearance in traditional Saudi attire alongside their fellow Al-Nassr teammates in a recent video.
Al-Nassr shared the video on their official X (formerly Twitter) page, providing a glimpse of the team and the local culture. In the video, the two superstar athletes were observed wearing traditional Saudi clothing.
