Lionel Messi is open to the idea of having another baby with his wife, Antonella Roccuzzo, and already has had the gender of the child on his mind for years.
Messi and Antonella have been together since childhood and married in 2017. They have three sons together - Thiago (12), Mateo (8), and Ciro (5).
At 36, he is approaching the end of his career while his sons are hoping to begin theirs, having enrolled at the Inter Miami academy when he joined the club in July.

The Argentina captain had a revealing interview with OLGA, in which he shared insights into his life on a wide range of topics, including parenting, and described his roles and that of his wife.
“I think I am a good father and I try to pass on to my children the values they taught me when I was young. I follow the approach of the club I grew up in, Barça… Barça's values are very important,” he said.
About his wife, he said:
“Antonella is a good mother, I respect her a lot. She spends 24 hours a day with the children while I spend a lot of time away from home traveling, matches, the national team and the pre-season. Sometimes I'm gone for a month and she stays here all day.”
Messi wants girl child
Fans teased Messi to have another child to celebrate winning the World Cup in December. Three days ago, fans claimed they were surprised his wife wasn't giving birth. He opened up that it's an idea he's open to but presently not working on.
“We would love to have another child. We are not in the research phase but we would like the girl,” he said.

Messi misses son's birthday

His wife, Antonella, shared a beautiful message on Instagram for their second son. Messi was absent on his son's day - an act hailed by his teammate, Rodrigo De Paul.
