FC Copenhagen goalkeeper, Kamil Grabara’s wife was reportedly subjected to social media bullying after her husband’s social media rant this week.
Grabara, who previously played for Liverpool, was between the sticks as Copenhagen played out an entertaining 2-2 draw against Turkish side, Galatasaray.
The 24-year-old’s team stunned the hosts in Turkey with a 2-0 lead through Mohamed Elyounoussi and Diogo Gonçalves.
Grabara was responsible for keeping his side in the game with some impressive reflexes, with one particular effort from Mauro Icardi producing a fine save from him.
Things took a turn for Copenhagen after Elias Jelert was sent off for a second bookable offence and Galatasaray took full advantage.
Cristiano Ronaldo's high demands at Man United left teammates frustrated
FootballDespite Galatasaray having stars including Hakim Ziyech, Icardi, and Wilfried Zaha at their disposal, it was right-back Sacha Boey who gave his side a lifeline after 86 minutes.
As cited by Daily Record, former Leicester City ace, Tete restored parity with a neat volley from Zaha’s cross to break the hearts of travelling Copenhagen supporters and their goalie.
After the game, a disgruntled Grabara took to social media with an explosive comment which insulted Galatasaray’s stadium.
Moments after his post, Grabara’s partner, Dominika Robak took screenshots of some of the threats she has been receiving on social media.
In one of her captions, she revealed she has received more than 300 death threats from fans, presumably those affiliated with Galatasaray.
Since then, Grabara has tweaked his social media caption to 'Deserved all 3pts from that [expletive] game, but that’s life, we move on'.
