Harry Kane completed a £104 million transfer to German champions, Bayern Munich after a summer-long saga involving his former side, Tottenham Hotspur and a host of other European clubs.
The 30-year-old, who has wasted little time hitting the ground running with the Bundesliga giants, has immediately become a mainstay in coach Thomas Tuchel's side.
Ahead of the Bavarians' UEFA Champions League clash against Manchester United, the discussion has returned to Kane and the events surrounding his blockbuster move, with reports indicating the Red Devils were keen on securing a deal for the striker.
Unfortunately for Erik ten Hag and the Man United hierarchy, the English striker opted for a move to the Bundesliga club instead.
However, a recent report by The Athletic claims Bayern Munich had to fend off offers from two other European powerhouses, including Real Madrid, in order to get the signing of Kane over the line.
