Inter Milan (12 points)

Inter Milan delivered a statement victory last Sunday, crushing AC Milan 5-1 to preserve their perfect record this season, per the BBC.

Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Marcus Thuram, Hakan Calhanoglu, and Davide Frattesi scored the goals for Inter, who extended their winning streak in the league to four matches.

Powering Inter’s strong start to the season is their excellent defence. They have conceded just one goal this campaign.

They recorded clean sheets in their wins over Monza (2-0), Cagliari (2-0), and Fiorentina (4-0) before allowing a goal in the victory over AC Milan.

Juventus (10 points)

Juventus are keeping pace with Inter Milan, recording three wins and one draw in their first four league matches.

They defeated Lazio 3-1 last Saturday to move up to second place in the Serie A table with 10 points, per EuroSport.

Dusan Vlahovic and Federico Chiesa scored the goals for Juventus, who nabbed wins over Udinese (3-0) and Empoli (2-0) before the international break.

The only match that Juve failed to win this season was against Bologna, with that contest ending in a 1-1 stalemate.

Lecce (8 points)

Lecce preserved their unbeaten record this season after recording a 1-1 draw against Monza on the road last Sunday.

Nikola Krstovic opened the scoring for Lecce in the third minute, but Monza equalised in the 24th minute via an Andrea Colpani strike.

There were no more goals after that, with Lecce and Monza reduced to ten men in the second half following red cards for Federico Baschirotto and Luca Caldirola.

Before the international break, Lecce nabbed wins over Lazio (2-1) and Salernitana (2-0) and held Fiorentina to a 2-2 draw.

Premier League's unbeaten teams

Sports Brief also reported on the remaining unbeaten teams in the Premier League this season.

Manchester City lead the cast, winning each of their first five league matches to start the season.

Tottenham, Liverpool, and Arsenal are two points behind City in the league table, after recording four wins and one draw each.
