Riyad Mahrez Marries His Partner Taylor Ward for the Second Time in London

Former Manchester City winger, Riyad Mahrez and his partner, Taylor Ward have tied the knot legally in London, with friends and family in attendance.

The event took place at the Londoner Hotel on Monday, September 4, 2023.

Mahrez and his partner announced their engagement on the 21st of June 2021, and married in a Muslim ceremony in January last year. They have a daughter together.

Taylor Ward took to her official page on Instagram to share pictures from their civil wedding accompanied by a beautiful caption.

"Marry your best friend, part 1," she said.
"Thank you for my beautiful dress @lihihod it was perfect šŸ¤@brownsbride And @chicpr_ for making the day so specialšŸ¤"

Mahrez set for Tanzania clash

Meanwhile, Mahrez has joined the Algeria National Team after the event, as the Desert Warriors will face Tanzania in their Africa Cup of Nations final qualifying round tie, scheduled to take place at the 19 May 1956 Stadium, Sofa Scores reports.

The Fennec Foxes have already booked a place in the competition that will be hosted by Ivory Coast in January next year.

Algeria top Group F with 15 points, with their opponents Tanzania sitting in second place with 7 points, while Uganda and Niger have 4 and 2 points respectively.

The former Leicester City winger will also battle it out with Al-Nassr star Sadio ManƩ when Algeria face Senegal in a friendly game in Diamniadio, scheduled for the 12th of September 2023.

Mahrez sends message to Man City

Sports Brief earlier reported that Mahrez congratulated his former teammates at Manchester City for making history following their UEFA Super Cup victory.

The UEFA Champions League winners defeated Sevilla on penalties to win their first-ever European Super Cup.

Mahrez, a member of the team that won the treble last season, was monitoring the game from his new base in Saudi Arabia.
