According to Sportskeeda, the potential arrival of Neymar to India for a competitive fixture has created a sensation among fans and within the Mumbai City camp.

Mumbai City posted a behind-the-scenes video of their squad's response to being drawn alongside Neymar's Al Hilal in the AFC Champions League, which has since gone viral.

Neymar joined Al Hilal on August 14 for a reported fee of around £76.8 million and became one of the highest-paid footballers currently in the Saudi Pro League alongside Cristiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema.

Al Hilal to axe players for Neymar

Meanwhile, Saudi Pro League side Al Hilal may have to axe three players after signing Brazilian superstar Neymar due to an AFC Champions League rule, Sport Bible reports.

When it comes to registering squads for the AFC Champions League, clubs are only permitted to register five players born outside of Asia, as the rule has been updated for this season.

Al Hilal have completed major moves for Neymar, Kalidou Koulibaly, Aleksandar Mitrovic, Sergej Milinkovic-Savic and Ruben Neves, as well as former Barcelona winger Malcom and Morocco goalkeeper Yassine Bounou from Sevilla.

Neymar's Al Hilal debut uncertain

Earlier, Sports Brief reported Neymar Junior stole the headlines after his blockbuster move to Al-Hilal in the Saudi Pro League.

The Brazilian's big money transfer, highlighted by astronomic earnings and crazy perks, was accompanied by a spectacular fan presentation reminiscent of that of Cristiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema.

Following his unveiling, Neymar was billed to make his debut for Al-Hilal against Al-Feiha last Saturday but this did not ultimately happen.
