Co-owner of MLS club and NBA superstar, Giannis Antetokuonmpo, has sent a message to Lionel Messi and his Inter Miami teammates ahead of the final of the Leagues Cup.
The Argentine World Cup winner has been in devastating form since arriving in the United States, propelling a struggling Inter Miami to the final of the Cup competition, with his nine goals in six matches.
Inter Miami will face Nashville SC in the last round of the competition on Sunday.
Milwaukee Bucks star, Antetokuonmpo, who had earlier welcomed Messi to the MLS, believes Nashville will stop Inter Miami.
"I told you I’ll see you in Nashville!! Let’s go Nashville SC," wrote the former NBA champion while quoting his earlier tweet on Messi's arrival to the MLS.
Nashville SC defeated Monterrey 2-0 to reach the final while Messi inspired Miami to a 4-1 victory over Philadelphia Union in the other game, as reported by the South Florida Sun-Sentinel.
Messi could win his first trophy in the United States after just seven games.
