Nigerian rapper Olamide mentioned Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen in his hit song ‘Celebrate’, which has now gone viral.
Osimhen was the hero in the Italia Serie A last season after scoring 26 league goals to lead Napoli to the Scudetto for the first time in more than three decades.
The Super Eagles striker practically bullied some of the best defenders in the world, before scoring important goals for his side.
And Olamide buttressed that in his song titled, ‘Celebrate’, when a line in the lyrics said ''Ma fo e lenu bi ti Osimhen'' – meaning "I’ll hit you like Osimhen".
Recall that Osimhen once disclosed that he is a fan of the Nigerian singer, adding that he listens to Olamide’s song before matches, as per Soccernet.
The former Lille of France striker told Pooja Media:
“Before I go to the stadium, I listen to Olamide’s rap. You know, there are some kinds of raps he’s done in recent years that are really inspirational to me. Olamide is my best musician in Nigeria, and I have his playlist that I listen to.”
