It is now official. Manchester United have completed the signing of Jadon Sancho from Borussia Dortmund for a fee of KSh 10.9 billion (£73m).
A deal in principle was agreed on between the two clubs on July 1, with Sancho having a medical after the conclusion of Euro 2020.
The deal sees Sancho become the second most expensive English player of all time, after his fellow teammate Harry Maguire.
He has joined United on a five-year deal, with the option to extend it by one year after 2026.
"I'll always be grateful to Dortmund for giving me the opportunity to play first-team football, although I always knew that I would return to England," 21-year-old Sancho said as quoted in the Manchester United website.

The official announcement of the transfer brings to an end a year-long saga involving Sancho, as United have been pursuing the talented winger since last year.
Borussia Dortmund turned down United’s bid for Sancho last summer but a year on, a new deal was agreed.
With Dortmund, Sancho managed to score 50 goals and register 57 assists in a total of 137 appearances in all competitions.
Solskjaer also spoke on Sancho’s arrival at Old Trafford, saying the 21-year old “epitomized” the kind of player he wanted at Manchester United.
"He will form an integral part of my squad for years to come and we look forward to seeing him blossom. His goals and assists records speak for themselves and he will also bring tremendous pace, flair and creativity to the team." Solskjaer said.

FootballSancho’s deal at Dortmund was set to run until 2023, and his former club Manchester City still retain a sell-on clause for their former youth team player.
The Englishman becomes Solskjaer’s second major signing of the summer after the arrival of goalie Tom Heaton.
Pogba rejects new Man United deal
Still on Manchester United, Paul Pogba has reportedly rejected a new deal at Manchester United that would have seen his wages rise considerably.
His hard stance on a new deal leaves United with two options: either to sell him or allow him to leave for free when his contract runs out next year.
French giants Paris Saint Germain are the early favourites to land Pogba with United reportedly wanting nothing less than 50 million pounds for the midfielder.
