Premier League strugglers Watford have parted ways with their manager Nigel Pearson with just two matches to the end of the season.
The Hornets are currently 17th on the table with 34 points after 36 league appearances - just three points better than 18th place Bournemouth.

Pearson, formerly manager of Derby and Leicester City was hired as a replacement for Quique Sanchez Flores in December when they were nine points above relegation zone.
Fast forward seven months later, they are just three points floating above the drop zone and the Vicarage Stadium outfit is hoping they can avoid the drop eventually.

The 56-year-old started his reign in charge of the club with four wins in his first seven matches, including the famous 3-0 defeat his side inflicted on Liverpool before football went on break.
Meanwhile, Pearson has only managed two wins since the return of football last month.
Watford have two crucial games against Manchester City and Arsenal and they must avoid defeats if they have to survive relegation this term.
