FootballCity's triumph in the competition also saw them complete a historic treble, having initially won the Premier League and FA Cup titles.
Sportbible reports that as is the tradition, UEFA unveiled the Champions League Team of the Season shortly after the final, as selected by their Technical Observer panel.
The panel settled for a 4-3-3 formation, with City stars dominating the squad.
Real Madrid goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois beat Ederson to the No.1 spot, with Inter's Alessandro Bastoni and Ruben Dias picked in the heart of defence.
Kyle Walker and Federico Dimarco were drafted in either flank of the back four, with the trio of John Stones, and Kevin De Bruyne making the midfield selection.
Erling Haaland's 12 goals in the competition earned him a spot in attack alongside Bernado Silva and Real Madrid ace Vinicius Jr.
However, fans were less than impressed with the team selection.
