Pep Guardiola will hope to complete a treble by winning the title for the English club, but it would be a tough task against the three-time champions.

Ahead of the encounter, Burna Boy arrived in Istanbul by a private jet and was welcomed by the organisers of the event.

He said, via UEFA's official website:

"The world isn't ready for what we have in store. As a huge football fan myself, I know it doesn't get any bigger than the UEFA Champions League!"

For this reason, the Nigerian musician said he was excited to be performing at this year's final.

"Music and football are the ultimate combination, so you already know I'll be bringing the vibes and making magic in Istanbul. The world isn't ready for what we have in store!" he added.

Burna Boy will become the first-ever African to perform at the Champions League final show, following up on his appearance at the 2023 NBA All-Star Weekend's half-time show.

Mbappe predicts Champions League winner

Sports Brief also reported on Kylian Mbappe predicting the UCL winner ahead of Saturday's final between Man City and Inter Milan.

The Citizens are within reach of the coveted trophy treble after success in the English Premier League and the FA Cup this season.

However, they will face a tough task in Inter, who are also chasing a treble after triumph in the Coppa Italia and the Italian Supercup.
