Clark and Hampton Kenya have been appointed as the track star Omanyala's business manager.

Help boost Omanyala's endorsement deals

The new manager will help boost Omanyala's brands through endorsement deals.

Clark and Hampton have been TV content aggregators, assisting TV channels across Africa acquire ready TV content.

They have represented over 30 TV producers from Kenya and Africa.

''From managing content to now managing athletes, we consult with channels such as KTN, NTV, Showmax, Mnet and have networks with Hollywood studios such as Warner Brothers and Disney,'' said Clark and Hamptons director Tony Mwite.

Mwite, a media manager who was the creator of the TV programmes Wash and Set and Beba Beba, said he is ready for the task ahead.

''With Omanyala's spectacular performance a few weeks ago, he captured the hearts of Kenyans, and endorsements are an inevitable part of his journey,'' Mwite said in a statement sent to TUKO.co.ke.

Breaking the world record in 2022

According to Mwite, Omanyala is currently training intending to break the world record in 2022.

Omanyala was on September 20 dealt blow after losing yet another partnership.

This was after Snolegal law firm that handled his doping case announced that it had terminated its contract with the athlete.

The firm issued a statement on Wednesday, September 29, explaining why they stopped representing Omanyala.

Reached a unilateral decision

In the press release, the law firm said engagements with the sprinter were terminated on September 7, 2021, upon reaching a unilateral decision.

"Snolegal Sports & Entertainment Law provided him with Legal, Reputation Management, Intellectual Property Management, PR and Communications services up until September 7, 2021 when we made a unilateral decision to cease representing him and we have not been involved in his decision-making since then," the statement read.

In other news, sports management company, DBA Africa on Monday, September 27, announced they had terminated their contract with Africa’s fastest man Omanyala.

The company released a statement confirming they had parted ways with the Kenyan sprinter with immediate effect.

Reasons for parting ways between the two companies remain speculative, although some reports claimed a communication breakdown in the build-up to the contract termination.
