Bukayo Saka opens up on the atmosphere in Arsenal dressing room after EPL title heartbreak

Football fans have been left astonished after Burnley announced their players are already back for pre-season training, barely a week since the conclusion of the 2022/23 season.
Technically, the season is yet to be concluded, but no one gave Burnley the memo as the club shared an interesting clip of their players returning to training.
It appears head coach, Vincent Kompany, a former Manchester City player, is seeking to gain an edge over other Premier League clubs ahead of the new season, which is well over two months away.
Photos shared on Burnley’s official website show the players warming up at the club’s training ground. One notable absentee was Wout Weghorst, who spent the second half of the season at Manchester United.

FootballWeghorst failed to establish himself at Old Trafford, and United decided against pursuing a permanent deal.
With the likes of striker, Jay Rodriguez spotted among the Burnley stars back in training, fans were left wondering where Weghorst would fit into Kompany’s squad next season.
Here are some of the reactions from fans:

“That's not enough recovery time, bad bad idea this.”
@TheGreenTurf2 commented:
“Not sure how I feel about coming back so early BUT Vincent Kompany will make this team very solid in the Prem.”
@ccfcmike posed a question, saying:
“So you give the players 4 weeks off? Bet they love playing for Burnley with that sort of break.”
Recently, Kompany spoke openly about the type of football he expects his team to play in the Premier League next season, as well as the type of player he hopes to sign in the summer transfer window.

Elsewhere, Sports Brief reported on the Burnley chairman’s bizarre analogy of Vincent Kompany as he likened the tactician to a beautiful lady.
Under Kompany, Burnley gained promotion back to the Premier League after winning the Championship title with an impressive 101 points.
Kompany signed a new five-year deal in May, but that may not be enough to keep him.
