According to AS Soccer, Real Madrid’s need to replenish their squad - following the departures of Karim Benzema, Eden Hazard, Marco Asensio, and Mariano Daiz - has led them to Chukwueze.

The Spanish giants are said to have approached Villarreal to inquire about the Nigerian winger’s availability this summer, although his current deal with the Yellow Submarines does not expire until 2024.

Los Blancos hopes to secure a deal in the range of €40 million for Chukwueze, who scored 13 goals and created 11 assists in 50 games for Villarreal this season.
