  • Harry Maguire has been linked with at least six Premier League clubs ahead of a possible summer move
  • The Man United skipper has fallen down the pecking order at Old Trafford, with Ten Hag not favouring him
  • Maguire has two years left on his £10million-a-year contract with the Red Devils

As many as six Premier League clubs have been linked with the possible signing of Harry Maguire, who has fallen out of favour at Manchester United.

Maguire has played a less prominent role at Old Trafford this season, with United boss Erik ten Hag underutilising him.

Ten Hag has appeared to prefer the partnership of Raphael Varane and Lisandro Martinez in the club's heart of defence, leaving Maguire warming the bench.

The Red Devils skipper managed 31 appearances for the club during the just-concluded 2022/23 season, making just six in the Premier League.

According to Goal, the England international is likely to depart Old Trafford this summer, with the centre-back said to be eager to for more playing time.

Six EPL clubs want Maguire

While Maguire has been the subject of heavy criticism, especially from fans, it appears he will not be short of transfer options should he decide to depart the club.

The Sun reports the former Leicester City centre-back has already been linked with at least six Premier League clubs, including Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur.

It is believed that Man United could use Maguire in a cash-plus player swap deal to land Mason Mount, who looks set to leave Stamford Bridge.

Aston Villa, West Ham United, Newcastle, and Fulham are the other top-flight teams Maguire has been linked with.

Outside England, Inter Milan and AC Milan are thought to be keeping tabs on the Englishman.

Man United told to get new keeper

Earlier, Sports Brief reported Manchester United should invest in a goalkeeper soon as David de Gea is not good enough, according to Red Devils legend Roy Keane.

Keane, known for his straight talk, delivered his brutal verdict after United lost 2-1 to Manchester City in the FA Cup final.

The thrilling clash at Wembley saw Ilkay Gundogan score two stunning goals for his side, including a fairly tame volley six minutes into the second half.
