''I received an offer from the Egyptian club Zamalek but this time it is not appropriate for me to accept the offer. If the circumstances were different, I would have wanted to continue with Al-Ahly of Egypt.
''In my contract with Al-Ahli of Saudi Arabia, there is a clause to renew the contract for a season but the club's management did not contact me in this regard and I would like to stay in the Asian Continent.''

Earlier, Sports Brief had reported how South Africa’s Pitso Mosimane could be appointed as the new Super Eagles coach, according to inside sources in the Nigeria Football Federation.

The contract of the current coach of the team, Jose Peseiro, will lapse in June amid reports that the football house will not renew it.

It was gathered that NFF chiefs are already hunting for a new coach as the board members unanimously decide not to further Peseiro's stay.

Further reports claim applications are already being received from representatives of different coaches.
