Alphonso Davies is switching roles from being a professional footballer to acting on the big screens of cinema as the Bayern Munich defender is set to feature in the new Spider-Man movie.
The Canadian star who broke into the limelight in 2019 when he joined the Bavarians, will be voicing one of the many characters of Spider-Man in the yet-to-be-released movie Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse.
According to Goal, Davies will voice the character Spider-Man 67 while, Germany international Jule Brand - who plays her club football for Wolfsburg - will lend her voice to drummer Betty.
