Ava, one of the twin daughters of former Super Eagles captain Mikel Obi, has been awarded the third-best player in her school in what is an awesome and landmark achievement.

The former Chelsea defensive midfielder and his Russian lover Olga Diyachenko welcomed the arrival of their twin daughters Mia and Ava in September 2015.

The ex-Stoke City of England midfielder has always taken to social media to flaunt the adorable girls, taking them almost everywhere.

But Ava seems to have taken after her father as she emerged as the third-best player in the school.

Mikel took to his Instagram Story to share a photo of Ava striking a pose with her certificate.

The AFCON 2013 winner officially retired in 2021 after a glorious and trophy-laden career. He has however insisted that he will remain in the sporting world in other capacities.

The former Chelsea midfielder recently announced his retirement from football after a glorious career that saw him win the Premier League titles with the Blues and Champions League.
