Frank Lampard has revealed he will be without the services of at least four Chelsea stars when his side take on rivals, Manchester United.

The encounter comes at a time the two teams are worlds apart in terms of form, with Chelsea set to miss out on a European football spot.

According to the BBC, the west Londoners have endured a torrid season and are guaranteed to record their lowest points total in Premier League history.

Be that as it may, they will be desperate to get a positive result against the Red Devils to at least earn bragging rights.

Chelsea without 4 key players

However, they will have to do this without four key players, who have been ruled out of the Old Trafford trip.

Speaking ahead of the clash, Lampard disclosed that the quartet of Benoit Badiashile, Ben Chilwell, Reece James, and Mason Mount will play no role in the fixture.

Armando Broja and Marcus Bettinelli also look set to be out of the game.

"There are no returning players. Mason, Reece, and Chilly won’t make the game. Benoit Badiashile we know is out," Lampard was quoted as saying by the Man United official website.

In the Blues legend's words, the team was as it was.

"Joao Felix had a small injury at the weekend, and he is involved."

Man United eye Mount move

Earlier, Sports Brief reported Man United are reportedly preparing a bid of £55 million to sign Chelsea midfielder, Mount at the end of the season.

The Englishman will have just a year left on his deal at Stamford Bridge, with reports suggesting talks over a renewal of his deal were not fruitful.

Mount is said to have rejected two contract extension offers from the Blues, signalling a possible desire to leave for a more successful outfit.
