Barcelona stars, including Frank Kessie, Robert Lewandowski and Raphinha, who all joined the Catalans last summer, were all part of the celebrations with the fans.

This is the 27th time Barcelona have been crowned as the league champions of Spain and the first for Xavi since he returned to manage his boyhood club.

Barcelona will pick up their La Liga trophy in their next home game on Saturday when they square up against Real Sociedad at Camp Nou.

Barcelona’s Supercopa opponent revealed

Barcelona are set to take on Osasuna in the 2024 Spanish Supercopa after emerging as La Liga champions for the first time since 2019, Football Espana reports.

Spanish Supercopa rules place the La Liga winner against the Copa del Rey losing finalists, where possible, at the semi-final stage, which now draws Osasuna after they lost to Real Madrid in the cup final.

Real Madrid will compete in the four-team tournament as Copa del Rey winners, with the slot for second/third place in La Liga rounding out the quartet.

Aubameyang will get La Liga winners medal

Earlier, Sports Brief reported Chelsea striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is set to pick a La Liga winners medal following Barcelona's triumph in the Spanish top-flight.

The Gabonese striker played eight minutes of the opening game of the campaign for Xavi's team during their goalless draw against Rayo Vallecano after he came on for Jordi Alba.

Barca recently secured the domestic crown for the first time since 2019 after an incredible season under the tutelage of club legend, Xavi.
