Diego Simeone hails Osimhen

“The Nigerian (Osimhen) is incredibly strong.
“There are few players with his characteristics out there, and I believe he could be worth over a hundred million. I’m not saying that he should be sold, but I’m just repeating the kind of reasoning I make for my Atletico.”

Weah believes Osimhen can win Ballon d'Or

Earlier, Sports Brief had reported how Africa's only Ballon d'Or winner, George Weah admonished Nigeria and Napoli forward, Victor Osimhen, to set the target of winning the coveted award.

The 24-year-old forward made history by leading Napoli to their first Serie A title in 33 years.

Osimhen also broke Weah's long-standing record as the African player with the most goals in the Italian Serie A, scoring his 47th in the game against Fiorentina last Sunday.

Despite his recent success, Weah - who won the 1995 European Best award- in congratulating the striker urged him to go for more accolades and believes the Super Eagles attacker has what it takes to win the Ballon d'Or.
