Manchester City hotshot Erling Haaland has appeared to mock Arsenal after they dropped points against West Ham United.

The Gunners were keen to bounce back to winning ways on Sunday during their trip to West Ham, only for the Premier League leaders to drop points once again.

Mikel Arteta's charges raced to a 2-0 lead in the opening exchanges of the London derby but were forced to settle for a draw after goals from Said Benrahma and Jarrod Bowen.

However, City have a golden chance to cut that lead to just a point, as they still have a game in hand ahead of their Etihad Stadium showdown.

Haaland appears to troll Arsenal

In-form Man City ace appeared to aim a sly dig at Arsenal following the West Ham draw, with the Norwegian posting a photo of himself on Twitter moments after the cracker with the caption: "Mood."

The timing of Haaland's post and caption had his followers thinking he was mocking the Gunners.

@Oyimzy tweeted:

"Arsenal be very scared."

@lon_nol101 observed:

"Nice timing."

@ikokwuarthur reckoned:

"Premier League winner mood."

@DaveryXX wondered:

"What's going on today? Celebrating arsenal bottle."

Saka breaks silence

Earlier, Sports Brief reported Bukayo Saka found himself on the receiving end after he missed a penalty against West Ham United.

The Arsenal ace had a chance to restore his side's two-goal lead, only for him to fire his effort wide.

Saka has since taken to Instagram to apologise to Arsenal fans, promising to make up for the miss.
