A section of fans has expressed fear Arsenal could bottle the Premier League title following their 2-2 draw with rivals West Ham United.

The Gunners surrendered a 2-0 advantage to settle for the draw at London Stadium during the Sunday cracker.

The visitors raced to an early lead via Gabriel Jesus and Martin Odegaard in the opening 10 minutes before Said Benrahma pulled one back for the Hammers in the 33rd minute.

West Ham took advantage of Arsenal's penalty miss to equalise minutes later via Jarrod Bowen.

Efforts by Arsenal to take the lead proved futile as David Moyes' men held firm to claim a vital point at home.

The result denied the Gunners an opportunity to cement their lead at the top, with only four points now separating them and second-placed Man City.

Arsenal could bottle the league

Arsenal's draw with West Ham had fans fearing the North Londoners could go the season without a trophy.

One tweeted:

"West Ham United may have just single-handedly cost Arsenal the league."

A second added:

"Arsenal might end this season trophyless after all the talk."

Another reckoned:

"I can understand when Arsenal draw Liverpool but not west Ham. Arsenal has lost it and it’s too late to correct things."

A fourth lamented:

"Congrats City, we bottled it as last year top 4."

A fifth concluded:

"It was nice dreaming, it's over."

Haaland appears to troll Arsenal

Earlier, Sports Brief reported Manchester City hotshot Erling Haaland has appeared to mock Arsenal after they dropped points against West Ham United.

The Gunners were keen to bounce back to winning ways on Sunday during their trip to West Ham, only for the Premier League leaders to drop points once again.

In-form Man City ace appeared to aim a sly dig at Arsenal following the West Ham draw, with the Norwegian posting a photo of himself on Twitter moments after the cracker with the caption: "Mood."
