  • Dusan Vlahovic's Instagram account has been taken down
  • He is currently undergoing a rough patch with the Old Lady
  • Vlahovic has only scored eight goals for Juventus this term

Juventus striker, Dusan Vlahovic has taken down his Instragam account as he endures a frustrating time in the Serie A.

The disabling of his account has not yet been definitively linked to his poor run of form as he struggles for goals upfront.

Vlahovic has only scored 11 times in all competitions, with his last goal coming against Freiburg in the Europa League round of 16.

He has not scored or assisted in the last 8 games for Massimiliano Allegri's side.

To make matters worse, he picked up what looked like an ankle injury in the loss against Lazio and will have to undergo further tests to determine the extent of the damage.

Vlahovic's account is unvailable

As Football Italia reports, the account had slightly over two million followers. It is also not known whether he has just deactivated the account or permanently deleted it.

A quick search on the social media giant shows just fan accounts, with the 23-year-old's official account unavailable.

It is a fall from grace of sorts, for a striker who was widely sought-after by top European clubs like Arsenal and Chelsea during his time at Fiorentina.

He elected to join the Serie A giants instead and settled in well before his mini-drop in form.

However, Vlahovic's struggles appear to be a reserve for club football, as he recently scored three times in two games for Serbia during the international break.

Vlahovic denies teammate's wife affair

Amid the World Cup last year, Sports Brief reported on Vlahovic vehemently denying rumours he had relations with the wife of Serbia's reserve goalkeeper, Predrag Rajkovic.

Reports were rife that the striker had yet to feature consistently for his country because of alleged illicit relations with Rajkovic's wife, Ana Cakic - which he claimed was untrue.

The striker had been expected to play a starring role upfront for the Serbian team alongside Fulham's Aleksandr Mitrovic but ended up only playing for 25 minutes.
