Different players are stats leaders in various categories. Erling Haaland is the top scorer, and Kevin De Bruyne has the highest number of assists. Nick Pope and Aaron Ramsdale lead the way in clean sheets with 12 each.

1. Brennan Johnson

The Nottingham Forest forward is the fastest player this season, according to Squawka, with a top speed of 36.7km/hr. He has scored seven goals and provided two assists as the newcomers strive to maintain their top-flight status next season.

2. Mykhailo Mudryk

Chelsea's £88m man is yet to adapt to the Premier League and has just one assist so far, but he achieved a top speed of 36.63km/hr on his debut against Liverpool, according to Mirror UK.

3. Anthony Gordon

The Everton academy graduate secured a £40m move to Newcastle United in January. He is the third fastest player in the league, with a top speed of 36.61km/hr.

4. Darwin Nunez

Liverpool signed the Uruguayan forward for a club-record £85m, according to Sky Sports. He initially struggled but has eight goals, three league assists and a top speed of 36.53km/hr, according to Opta.

5. Matheus Nunes

The Portuguese midfielder chose Wolves over Chelsea and Liverpool in the summer when he left Sporting Lisbon. He remains on Liverpool's radar for a move in the summer. He has a top speed of 36.32km/hr this season.

6. Erling Haaland

The Premier League's top scorer with 28 goals comes in at number six, having a top speed of 36.22km/hr. It proves he is an efficient centre-forward who is not only a predator in the box but can be played on fast counters.

7. Denis Zakaria

The Juventus midfielder on loan at Chelsea has had playing time hard to come, but when he steps on the field, he gives his all. He achieved a top speed of 36.09km/hr in the 1-0 loss to Manchester City.

8. Kieran Tierney

The Scottish full-back has to contend with the experienced Oleksandr Zinchenko for a starting berth. When called upon, he has been a constant presence down the left side and has a top speed of 35.99km/hr.

9. Gabriel Martinelli

The Brazilian winger is essential to Arsenal's title charge and very good at beating defenders one-on-one and also on counters. He has scored 13 league goals and reached a top speed of 35.9km/hr.

10. Marcus Rashford

The England international has been in blazing form for Manchester United since the end of the World Cup. He is a menace down the left wing with 14 league goals and a top speed of 35.81km/hr this season.

Haaland doubtful for Liverpool clash

Sports Brief reported that Erling Haaland missed training and is an injury doubt for Manchester City's crucial game against Liverpool on Saturday.

The Norwegian picked up a groin injury on international duty and was forced to withdraw from the national team. He has been undergoing treatment in Barcelona, according to his father.
