According to the report by Complete Sports, Peseiro said he had explained how his players can defeat the Djurtus in the second leg.

Peseiro: Nigeria missed many chances

“I gave my opinion after the first match. I watched the video again yesterday and our team missed a lot of chances. The strikers missed a lot of chances," Peseiro commented.
”The performance was not bad but we need to score goals. That’s the most important thing. It is not normal when a team like us missed too many chances like we did on Friday.''

The Super Eagles will need to win the encounter to hold hopes of qualifying for the main AFCON competition.

Amunike wants to coach Nigeria

In related news, Sports Brief reported on Emmanuel Amunike wanting to coach Nigeria and stating he can change the fortunes of the three-time African champions.

During his active days as a footballer, he was part of the Super Eagles squad that won the 1994 African Cup of Nations and also featured for clubs including Barcelona.

In the same year as the AFCON success, Amunike was also named the best African footballer thanks to his incredible performances for Zamalek and the national team.
