According to the report on Sky Sports, Napoli chiefs have it clear that the amount they want for Osimhen is £150M.

Who will pay the money?

As it stands, both Chelsea and United are financially okay to cough out this amount and it now depends on who is really interested to pay.

These two clubs must also have at the back of their minds that Paris Saint-Germain may decide to hijack the deal in the summer.

Sports Brief spoke with Super Eagles coordinator on the price tag on Osimhen and he expressed happiness that a Nigerian player is being wanted by many clubs.

Statement made by Pascal

''We in the Super Eagles are happy with Osimhen's form and development so far, and I we want for him and other players is for them to keep flying high at the clubs.
''Osimhen is a Nigerian and it is a good thing that he is being looked for by many clubs and the price is also good because he is young and energetic.''

Osimhen started as a goalkeeper

Earlier, Sports Brief had reported how Victor Osimhen has been doing excellently well this season for Napoli in the Serie A getting them goals. However, not many knew that the 24-year-old started his career as a goalkeeper.

The Nigerian striker made this revelation while answering questions in a video interview where he made it clear that he was a goalie when he was young.

Osimhen also revealed that there was even a tournament where he saved two penalties for his youth team in the semi-final of a tournament.

The Nigerian explained that he later stopped keeping and then became a defender before he became a striker.
