Chris Hughton explains Partey's role

Earlier, Sports Brief reported on Chris Hughton addressing the role of Partey as a Black Stars player and an Arsenal midfielder.

The Gunners star has been criticised for not giving his best to the national team compared to his performances for his club.

However, Hughton insists Partey's roles at club and country differ slightly but does not take away his importance to the team.

Ferdinand wanted Partey at United

Sports Brief also reported on former England defender, Rio Ferdinand confessing he wanted Partey to join Man United.

The 29-year-old ended up signing for Arsenal in 2020 and has become an important figure at the Emirates Stadium.

Partey's performances in the English Premier League have seen the Gunners top of the table with 12 games to go.
