New Black Stars coach, Chris Hughton believes finding the right balance will bring the very best out of versatile midfielder Mohammed Kudus.

The Ajax star has been in sensational form this season despite playing in various positions on the field.

Kudus has excelled as a midfielder, a winger and a forward, scoring 18 goals across all competitions for the Dutch giants.

Although his main position is as an attacking midfielder, coaches have struggled in making a decision as to where to play him.

However, Hughton prefers to get the best out of the midfielder by finding a good balance in the team.

“With regards to Kudus, he is a player that can play in numerous positions. Everybody can have an opinion on his best position. For me it's just about getting the right balance," said Hughton at his unveiling, as quoted by

Kudus is expected in Ghana on Monday ahead of the Black Stars' Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Angola later this week.

The red-hot midfielder has been impressive playing for the national team, scoring seven goals in 12 matches.

Hughton addresses Partey's role

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Chris Hughton has addressed the role of Thomas Partey as a Black Stars player and an Arsenal midfielder.

The Arsenal star has been criticized for not giving his best to the national team anytime he is playing for Ghana.

Hughton insists his roles at club and country differ slightly but that does not take away how important he is to the team.

Kudus responds to Manchester United interest

Mohammed Kudus has revealed his ambitions with Ajax Amsterdam despite interest from English Premier League giants Manchester United.

The 22-year-old Ghanaian midfielder has been linked with a move to Old Trafford following his outstanding displays in the Eredivisie this season.

Kudus has scored 18 goals across all competitions for the Dutch giants this season, making him one of the most sought after players in Europe.
