Kylian Mbappe is set to snub Real Madrid for the second consecutive season as it appears the 24-year-old wants to remain at Paris Saint-Germain.

PSG’s early elimination from this season’s UEFA Champions League prompted speculations that Mbappe could seek a move away from the club at the end of the season.

According to Goal, the French striker wants to win gold with France at the 2024 Olympics in Paris and then leave the capital on a high note.

This means Mbappe will likely continue playing for PSG beyond the 2022/23 season and his contract with the Paris club runs until 2024.

The 24-year-old forward became PSG’s all-time goal scorer with 202 goals for the Ligue 1 champions, surpassing the previous record held by Edinson Cavani who scored 200 goals.

La Liga president makes Mbappe claim

Meanwhile, La Liga president Javier Tebas has revealed he would want Paris Saint-Germain forward Kylian Mbappe to one day play in the Spanish topflight, Fansided reports.

Mbappe is thinking about his future once again and this has led to renewed speculation over the Frenchman and reignited the links to Real Madrid.

Mbappe appears destined to play for Real Madrid one day, and with PSG out of the UEFA Champions League, next summer could be the time for Los Blancos to make a move for the 2018 World Cup winner.

Mbappe is the best player in the world

Earlier, Sports Brief reported Kylian Mbappe has been labelled the "best player" by France manager Didier Deschamps.

Deschamps, who coaches Mbappe at national team level, reckons there is no player that matches the brilliance of the Paris Saint-Germain talisman presently.

The 2018 World Cup-winning coach conferred the title on Mbappe, who has been touted as the heir-apparent to Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo's GOAT throne due to his exploits.
