Perhaps, Paintsil could work with the rapper as he builds a career in music. In terms of football, he has been in superb form in Belgium this season, scoring 11 goals and providing 12 assists in 24 league games.

His omission from the squad to the 2022 World Cup shocked Ghanaians, but the former Tema Youth star is making a return to the national team this week.

Paintsil is expected to play in the home and away clashes against the Palancas Negras of Angola.

The Black Stars could wrap up qualification for Ivory Coast 2023 if they pick maximum points against the central African nation.

Angola will visit Ghana for the first leg in Kumasi before the Black Stars travel to Luanda in four days' time.

Paintsil blasts former Ghana coach

Earlier, Sports Brief reported on KRC Genk winger, Paintsil blaming former Ghana coach, Otto Addo for taking his World Cup dreams away from him.

The 25-year-old had been in red-hot form for the Belgium league leaders, but was dropped from the tournament in Qatar by the former national coach.

Paintsil was Ghana's best forward in Europe before the Ghanaian team was announced, having scored six goals and providing six assists in 14 matches.

Paintsil named in Ghana squad

New Black Stars coach, Chris Hughton has released his team for the double-header AFCON 2023 qualifier against Angola later this month.

Sports Brief also reported on the former Brighton & Hove Albion and Newcastle manager naming a 25-man squad for the important games.

Conspicuously missing from the list is defender, Baba Rahman while in-form KRC Genk star, Paintsil is making a return to the team.
