Cristiano Ronaldo’s woes in Saudi Arabia deepened as the 38-year-old endured another extremely frustrating game by his own standards on March 14.

Ronaldo’s Al-Nassr came up against Abha as the Portugal superstar looked to break his two-game goal drought.

Things were going well for Al-Nassr as goals from Sami Al-Najei and Abdullah Al-Khaibari had put the team 2-0 up in their King Cup quarter-final.

Ronaldo then broke away to perhaps create an opening or score another goal for his side to make it 3-0, but the referee decided he had seen enough of the first half and blew the whistle.

The Portuguese star was clearly not impressed by the half-time whistle and kicked the ball away in frustration, waving his hands as he muttered in frustration.

The outburst subsequently earning Ronaldo a booking, as reported by GOAL.

The five-time Ballon d’Or winner’s reaction at half-time did not deter his side, who went on to win the game 3-1.

Another day, another Ronaldo reaction

This is not the first time Al-Nassr fans have witnessed the angry face of Ronaldo in the Middle East.

Just days earlier, he took out his anger on a water bottle in the wake of Al-Nassr's 1-0 defeat to Al-Ittihad.

He had been subjected to constant chants of 'Messi' throughout that game and it seemed to get to him.

Al-Nassr’s next match will be against the same opponents on Saturday, this time in a league encounter.

Ronaldo reacts to Messi chants

Sports Brief earlier reported on how Ronaldo reacted to hostile away fans chanting Lionel Messi’s name during a recent game.

Clips of his best plays in the Middle East have made rounds on social media, but so have videos of some of his low moments.

Footage was captured of Ronaldo taunting rival fans, who then attempted to get under his skin by chanting for his nemesis.
