Isaac Success: Super Eagles Coach Peseiro Says He Is Monitoring Udinese Star

Jose Peseiro who is the head coach of the Super Eagles of Nigeria has explained that he and his crew members are monitoring Udinese forward Isaac Success who has been impressive this term.

Success so far this term has cemented his place in the Udinese first team and has featured in all their league games as the club currently sit 10th on the table.

Players will soon be called to camp for Nigeria's coming games and Peseiro will want to record wins in the two fixtures.

According to the report on Naija Footballer, Peseiro explained that Success is not the only player is is even taking a look at in the Serie A.

Statement made by Peseiro

"We are observing him. To him and to many others in Serie A: Dessers, Ola Aina, Ebuehi, for example.
''We observe them all, then when we have to make the list, we will have to make choices and it will not be easy. Because luckily. We have a lot of choice. But Success is there, among the players we have an eye on."

Troost-Ekong to miss double header

Earlier, Sports Brief had reported how stand in captain of the Super Eagles of Nigeria Troost-Ekong is now set to miss Nigeria's coming double header in the African Cup of Nations qualifiers against Guinea-Bissau.

This is because the Salernitana defender is still recuperating from the injury he sustained last month while playing against Verona.

Initially, the strongman was expected to be sidelined for two weeks, but his recuperation process suffered a setback which has affected his game.

Coach Peseiro explained that Ekong really wanted to come and play in the coming games.

Super Eagles are topping the group ahead of the first leg clash at the MKO Abiola stadium in Abuja.
