Earlier, Sports Brief had reported how stand in captain of the Super Eagles of Nigeria Troost-Ekong is now set to miss Nigeria's coming double header in the African Cup of Nations qualifiers against Guinea-Bissau.

This is because the Salernitana defender is still recuperating from the injury he sustained last month while playing against Verona.

Initially, the strongman was expected to be sidelined for two weeks, but his recuperation process suffered a setback which has affected his game.
