He was part of the Juve squad that won five straight Scudettos between 2015 to 2020.

Dybala spent seven years in Turin, but the club decided against renewing his contract and he left on a free transfer to team up with José Mourinho, who currently manages AS Roma in the Italian capital of Rome.

Mourinho on Dybala joining Roma

As reported by UEFA, the Special One led Roma to their first European trophy - their first trophy since the 2008 Coppa Italia and his fifth European trophy.

He has bolstered the squad with free signings, Dybala and Andrea Belotti and loan signing, Gini Wijnaldum.

Speaking ahead of the Europa League round of 16 match against Real Sociedad, as quoted by Roma Press, Mourinho praised the former Palermo winger’s mentality and revealed why he chose a move to Rome.

“Dybala came here motivated, with the dream of winning the World Cup, and he did it. He feels important to us, and he is. I think it’s all of this together. I’m happy because he’s a fantastic guy, humble, sensitive, and he deserves all this affection."

The Argentine has contributed 12 goals and seven assists in 25 goals for his new club this season, underlining his importance to the team.

Dybala appeals to Juventus fans

Sports Brief also earlier reported on Dybala appealing to Juventus fans after he celebrated Roma's 1-0 win over his former club at the Stadio Olimpico on Saturday.

La Joya played 73 minutes but failed to hit the target, with fans furious at his celebrating after goalkeeper, Rui Patricio made a match-defining save near the end.

Dybala posted a message to fans after the game, saying his actions were not meant to disrespect Juventus but rather to celebrate his new team's hard-fought success.
