  • The Jamaican forward has been underwhelming under new boss Unai Emery
  • Emery is said to be strict on discipline with players and not a fan of temperamental players

Aston Villa boss Unai Emery is known to be tough on discipline with his players and never scared of making his opinion heard at press conferences with players who are not adhering to his disciplinary demands.

He returned to the Premier League last year after Steven Gerrard was sacked. He has previously managed Arsenal, leading them to a UEFA Europa League final, which he lost to rivals Chelsea.

A Villa player may have gotten into trouble with Emery after he was spotted inhaling laughing gas at a party he attended after Villa's 2-0 win over Everton last weekend.

Sun added that Inhaling nitrous oxide is legal — but it is illegal to supply it due to its psychoactive effect. It starves the brain of oxygen and makes users feel light-headed and dizzy, and it can even cause death.

It would not be the first time the former Paris Saint-Germain boss would deal with players inhaling the substance. As reported by Guardian, during his time at Arsenal, Mesut Özil, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Alexandre Lacazette and Mattéo Guendouzi were filmed inhaling the substance.

Sky Sports reports that long-term usage for professional athletes reduces vitamin B12, which subsequently reduces nerve function and can also cause anaemia, headaches, dizziness and even paranoia.

Emery slams Martinez for costly error

World Cup-winning goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez and Unai Emery are reportedly not fans of each other, as the manager is not pleased with the Argentine's temperament.

Both returned to their former clubs, Arsenal, two weeks ago, and it was Martinez's errors that gave the Gunners two goals and a 4-2 win which helped them return to the top of the table.

Sports Brief reported Emery criticised Martinez for the blunders. The goalkeeper is set to depart in the summer as his sticks have risen since winning the World Cup, and he wants to play for a Champions League club.
