Alvaro Rodriguez left his dad in an emotional state after scoring against Atletico in a tense Madrid Derby on Saturday evening.
In only his second league appearance, the Uruguayan teen sensation rose highest to nod home the equalizer as Madrid shared the spoils with their city rivals.
His maiden goal for Los Blancos in the Spanish top flight comes follows a strong cameo appearance against Osasuna, where he set up Asensio in a 2-0 away win.
The 18-year-old moved his dad to tears after proving his mettle at the biggest stage, per GOAL.

"I started to cry when Álvaro scored," Alvaro's dad said, as quoted by MadridXtra.
He continued: "Alvaro is fulfilling his dream. This is everything he wanted. As a child he cried whenever Real Madrid lost to Barcelona."
He would hope to continue on the same trajectory as Madrid face Barcelona in the Copa del Rey on March 2 before locking horns against Real Betis three days later.
Rodriguez nets debut La Liga goal
Rodriguez grabbed a late goal in the Madrid derby against Atletico as he secured a draw for the reigning La Liga champions.
The Uruguayan rose high from a corner to head home and nick a late draw for his side.
The youngster, who plays for Real Madrid Castila, has impressed coach Carlo Ancelotti, and earned himself a place in the first team next season.

Real Madrid's young striker Alvaro Rodriguez salvaged a late 1-1 draw for the champions in a tense derby clash against 10-man Atletico Madrid on Saturday in La Liga, Sports Brief earlier reported.
The point provisionally reduces league leaders Barcelona's advantage on Los Blancos to seven points, but gives the Catalans the chance to expand the gap to 10 on Sunday against Almeria.
Jose Gimenez had headed Atletico in front in the second half shortly after team-mate Angel Correa had been sent off for elbowing Madrid defender Antonio Rudiger.
