Thibaut Courtois and Alisson Becker channeled their inner Loris Karius after they produced huge howlers in the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday.

The Belgian goalkeeper fumbled a back pass from Madrid defender Dani Carvajal.

The loose ball then deflected off the shot stopper's knee into the path of Mohamed Salah, who reacted quickly to score.

Salah's effort gave Jurgen Klopp's side a 2-0 cushion before Vinicius Junior reduced the deficit.

The Brazilian was then a beneficiary of an unpardonable mistake from Liverpool goalkeeper Becker, as his pass hit the Real Madrid forward's leg and looped into the net to gift the visitors an equaliser.

Receiving a back pass from Joe Gomez, Alisson completely miss kicked his clearance which fortuitously struck Vinicius and zoomed into the net.

Here are the best reactions to Alisson and Courtois' infamous moment:

Benzema scores silky goal

Karim Benzema ended his goal-scoring drought in the current Champions League campaign in style when Real Madrid trounced Liverpool on Tuesday night.

The Frenchman grabbed a second half brace as the defending European champions put last season's finalists to the sword at their own backyard.

According to Opta, Benzema becomes the oldest visiting player to score against Liverpool at Anfield in a major European competition (35 years, 46 days old).

Nunez scores cheeky goal

Darwin Nunez produced a cheeky finish to a Salah cross to open the scoring against Madrid in the fourth minute of the game.

The goal was unbelievably cheeky and caught Thibaut Courtois off guard, Sports Brief earlier reported.

The goal was the first of four goals scored in the first half between the two sides, as they both lived up to their attacking billing.
