Kirill Tereshin, the popular Russian fighter nicknamed “Popeye” because of his 24-inch biceps, had previously suffered an embarrassing defeat before he tapped out three minutes into his first fight in the MMA.

In a footage which has re-surfaced, the Russina bodybuilder had been knocked out in May, even before the MMA defeat, Mirror reports.

But this time, Tereshin was knocked out with a slap by the world slapping champion back Vasiliy ‘The Dumpling’ Kamotskiy.

Tereshin, who has developed huge Popeye-like arms by injecting his muscles with highly dangerous synthol, took part in the "Faces of Stone" tournament back in May.

A crowd of people watched on as he got into a war of words with opponent Kamotskiy before their clash had even begun.

But soon after, the spectators were left shocked as he was left unconscious by a powerful slap which sent him crashing to the ground.

He was dragged to his feet with questions "are you alive?" as he looked dazed by the force of Kamotskiy’s slap.

The surprising thing about Tereshin’s defeat is that Kamotskiy had barely moved when the Russian bodybuilder had struck him with a slap during his turn.

On the question of injecting synthol into his arms, doctors have constantly warned Tereshin that the practice is a serious health hazard.

Earlier, Legit.ng reported that Kirill Tereshin learnt the hard way that fighting is more than biceps as he was defeated in an embarrassing bout by an opponent nearly twice his age.

The 23 years old also known as Popeye for having the arm structure of the famous sailor in 1929 cartoon series, was defeated three minutes into his fight with 43-year-old opponent Oleg Mongol in the fight held in Siberia.
