In terms of net worth, Cristiano Ronaldo is much ahead of many star players of many sports, while the forward’s net worth is estimated to be around $490 million according to Forbes.

Ronaldo was previously ranked by Forbes as the world’s highest-paid athlete in 2016 and 2017.

The ex-Real Madrid star who now plies his trade for Al-Nassr in Saudi Arabia gave his first big paycheck to his mother so she would never have to work again.

Sergio Aguero

Sergio Aguero is one of the most successful footballers to have come out from Argentina.

The 34-year-old forward has played for top teams including Atletico Madrid, Manchester City and Barcelona before he was forced to retire due to a heart issue.

According to AS Soccer, after his move to Manchester City from Atlético Madrid, Argentinean striker Sergio Aguero spent $1.5millon on a Lamborghini Aventador.

Xavi Hernández

Now the coach of Barcelona, Xavi Hernandes spent his entire professional career in Europe playing for the Catalan giants where he won several titles including the Champions League.

In 2015, Xavi Hernandez joined the Qatari club Al Sadd SC as a player. He made his debut for the team on August 20, 2015, in a match against Al Khor SC, Wikipedia reports.

The ex-Barcelona midfielder bought a toaster for his mother with his first paycheck as a professional.

Ronaldo set to return to Europe

Earlier, Sports Brief reported Cristiano Ronaldo is bound to return to Europe to round up his career, Al-Nassr manager Rudi Garcia has revealed.

The five-time Ballon d'Or winner and Real Madrid's all-time record goal scorer had an inch-perfect career in Europe, causing records to seamlessly tumble before him.

On his arrival at Al-Nassr, the 37-year-old stated emphatically his time in Europe is done, hence his sojourn in Saudi Arabia.
