"What Eddie is doing is incredible. We cannot say that we saw that, we were hoping that he could do that because of the way he is, because of his mentality, because of his qualities and how those qualities fit within the team. Losing Gabby [Jesus] was a big blow, it is a big blow today, but Eddie is responding and the team I think in an exceptional way," he said as quoted by the club's website.

Nketiah has been on an incredible run since the start of the year.

He has scored 19 goals across his last 26 starts for Arsenal in all competitions, including 13 in his last 13 starts at the Emirates Stadium for the Gunners.

Nketiah warns EPL defenders

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Arsenal's brace hero, Eddie Nketiah has warned English Premier League defenders to be wary of his threat, after scoring twice in the victory over Manchester United.

The red-hot English-born Ghanaian continued his scoring form, as the Gunners secured another important win in the Premier League quest.

After the game, the young forward took to social media to share his excitement, while taunting defenders as his team closes in on the title.

Arteta praises Nketiah
