FootballTV Personality Accuses Casemiro of Deliberately Getting Himself Booked vs Crystal Palace
- Piers Morgan came up with astonishing claims about Casemiro's yellow card
- The Brazilian will miss the tie with Arsenal after a fifth booking this season
- The outspoken Morgan claims the midfielder got himself carded deliberately
Controversial media personality, Piers Morgan was at it again with a bold criticism of Casemiro after Manchester United’s frustrating 1-1 draw against Crystal Palace on Wednesday, January 18.
The 30-year-old Brazilian has made a huge impact for Erik ten Hag’s side since his arrival from Real Madrid in the summer, bringing in much-needed stability in the midfield.
Ahead of the clash against Arsenal, there has been an interesting debate on social media on who has the better holding midfielder between the Gunners and the Red Devils.
Fans affiliated to the league leaders put up a strong case for Ghanaian Thomas Partey, who they claim has played a part in Arsenal's title surge so far this season.

However, others say Casemiro, a five-time Champions League winner, has had an impact at Manchester United that is unmatched.
Since arriving from the Spanish capital in the summer, Casemiro has made 27 appearances, getting five assists and two goals in that time.
But his performances have not quite impressed Morgan, who maintained that Arsenal has the better midfielder in Partey, as per TalkSport.
Morgan and Ferdinand debate Casemiro
Morgan had been engaged in a fierce debate with Man United legend, Rio Ferdinand on Twitter, making a bold claim to the former defender ahead of the Sunday game.
“Rio, if you genuinely think Partey isn’t as good as Casemiro, then you’re in for a nasty shock on Sunday when he bullies your guy into submission and I get this trending again,” Morgan tweeted.

FootballHowever, there was a twist in the tale on Wednesday, as Casemiro picked up a yellow card, which effectively meant he would not be eligible to feature against Arsenal due to a mandatory suspension he needed to serve.
Morgan took the opportunity to justify his argument that Partey was better, with a hilariously brave allegation:
“I think Casemiro got himself deliberately booked to avoid proving me right.”
Ten Hag on Casemiro's absence
Meanwhile, Sports Brief reported on Erik ten Hag’s reaction to Casemiro being missing for the Arsenal game.
The Dutchman still insisted his side would put up a brave battle against the runaway league leaders, since they had beaten them earlier in the season without the Brazilian.
"The last time we beat Arsenal without Casemiro, so this time we need to do the same," the Red Devils manager commented.
