The Ghana Football Association has revealed that no Ghanaian coach has applied for the vacant Black Stars role.
The FA is on a hunt for a new coach ahead of March's Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
Otto Addo stepped down as coach of the team following Ghana's early World Cup elimination.
Despite interests from several coaches for the job, the Communications Director of the Association, Henry Asnate-Twum has disclosed his outfit is yet to receive an application from an indigenous coach.

“I can say over 60 coaches have applied for the Black Stars coaching job and those coaches are European and South American coaches,” he told Asempa FM as quoted by Pulse.
“From what I know, no Ghanaian coach has applied for the job. The Black Stars is very attractive. You cannot have Mohammed Kudus in your team and think the Black Stars is not attractive. It is an attractive brand, no doubt about that.
“I think it will be this month. From the conversations going on it is very likely a new head coach of the Black Stars will be appointed this month.”
Meanwhile, the FA is expected to announce a new coach for the national team this month.

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Communications Director of the Ghana Football Association, Henry Asante Twum has disclosed that its outfit has received over sixty applications for the vacant Black Stars job.

FootballGhana have been without a coach since Otto Addo stepped down as gaffer following the Black Stars' exit from the World Cup in Qatar.
Assistant coach George Boateng and technical advisor Chris Hughton are reportedly interested in the job.
Nora Hauptle appointed Black Queens coach
Former Switzerland women's national team player, Nora Hauptle has been appointed the head coach of the Black Queens of Ghana.
The 39-year-old replaces Marcy Quarcoo-Tagoe as coach of the female national team and will be assisted by Joyce Boatey-Agyei and Aboagye Dacosta.
The former FC Thun player was technical advisor of the Black Queens for a while and will now assume full control after the FA confirmed her appointment.
