The Middle East nation was on the spot for a lot of 'stringent' rules before the World Cup began, notably refusing to bend its laws on the LGBTQ community, public displays of affection, and even alcohol.

Among its rules are those governing indecent or revealing dressing in public.

The Argentinian fan went full shirtless to celebrate La Albiceleste's first World Cup since 1986. However, Qatari rules dictate that women should ensure their shoulders and knees are covered at all times.

Should the authorities decide to open legal proceedings against her, the fan would face time in jail or a hefty fine.

Messi finally wins World Cup

Sports Brief has also reported that Messi finally got his hands on the Jules Rimet trophy, after Argentina beat France in the final of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

Messi said his dream was finally fulfilled as he lifted the trophy, which was a crowning achievement of his illustrious career. The South Americans had to survive a Kylian Mbappe masterclass, as the young Frenchman scored a hat-trick in a historic performance.

Mbappe scored two late goals to stun the South Americans, who thought they had won the game. The Argentina captain then thought he had won it again in extra time, but the young striker hit back again from the spot.
