Sprint legend Usain Bolt is backing Argentina to beat France and win the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

The two countries square up at the Lusail stadium for a third World Cup triumph after a month-long competition in the Asian country.

Bolt has been spotted in an Argentina jersey as he openly supports the South Americans to dethrone France.

France made it back-to-back World Cup final after beating Morocco in the semi-final last Wednesday while Argentina are returning to this stage since the 2014 tournament.

Bolt is a huge fan of Lionel Messi and will love to see the former Barcelona man win the tournament for the first time.

It's been 36 years since Argentina won the World Cup, after Maradona led them to success in 1986.

Meanwhile, Bolt retired from sprinting after winning eight gold medals at the Olympics.
